This course will focus on gaining an understanding of the technical aspects of working with red low-fire clay, slips, and glazes. Columbus College of Art & Design; Columbus, OH (2014-2019)
During my time as Assistant Director of Graduate Studies, I coordinated the MFA thesis exhibition each year. I was involved in nearly every aspect of the process. Mentoring students through their project, coordinating between the gallery staff and the artists what they would be featuring and how installation of their projects would play out. I was also involved in budgeting, marketing materials, signage, procure curatorial statements, and in the end documentation of the show, with a catalog to follow. It was a rewarding experience and I am happy to share the catalogs here (2014-2019): https://mollyjburke.com/exhibition-coordination
