"One of These is Not Like the Other" is a commentary on picking and choosing what "belongs" - something we learn early on as children with pattern recognition via a catchy Sesame Street song. In this case though the item in question is identical to the other forms with the exception that the material is a combination of parafin and beeswax instead of the sterile white hydrocal. With this work I would like to question - does the "other" really not belong? Maybe in fact it is of equal merit or superior. The two materials are in stark contrast to one another. The hydrocal which is cold, dry, easily damaged, and hard to repair, the darker bronze wax form is smooth and responsive, will warm to the touch, it is malleable. Either way it would be nice to rewrite some of the verses to that song.
